I bought my gorgeous 2012 4wd Hiace campervan in Nov 2024. I travelled in it full-time from March 25, from WA to Tasmania and out to the Flinders Ranges and Coober Pedy, just me and my trusty sidekick, mini dachshund, Asha. We've been back to Perth and back again to Victoria. Apart from replacing a water pump before I left WA the first time, I have had no problems at all with the van mechanically or with the beautiful fit out. This van got me out of my mundane life and changed my life forever. I will be forever grateful for the life I have now and I would never have found it without my beautiful van. We have camped for weeks at a time, and we have driven for hours every day at different times. I've never felt unsure or unsafe in my van, and it has never missed a beat. Reece has always been available and responsive any time I've had questions, needed information or needed spare bits and pieces. Thank you Reece. Reece at Savage Adventure vans is the best in the business! From the moment we started discussing our van, the quality and care from Reece was fantastic. I was following savage adventure vans for ages and loved the quality and layout of the vans. I finally reached out and spoke with Reece — the owner and creator of savage adventure vans — and I told him what I was looking for in a van and it was my dream to travel around Australia with my dog in a converted Toyota Hiace. He helped my dream become a reality! He has so much experience and expertise and answered all of my questions and made the van not only beautiful but also practical. He was very professional and even helped me source the van! From start to finish I was impressed with how quickly it came together and the features it had — he literally thought of everything and updated me on the progress and made suggestions that really added to the value and comfort of my van and the quality of the build is just fantastic.

Time has flown and I've had this van for a year and a half now and me and my partner absolutely love it. Every time we walk past it in the street my partner says, "Ooh look at that sexy thang." Reece was super helpful in the design phase of the van and able to problem solve how to accommodate my desire to have lots of surfboard storage area fitted into the van as well. Some teething issues early on in my van journey but Reece has always been openly happy to have the van returned to fix up any problems that arise. And even as I approach 2 years with the van I'm still in contact with Reece who I know would happily provide advice (and I'm sure even hands on help himself) with any further problems or adaptations that might come up because he is so passionate about his vans which are a work of art.
