No mystery to it. Here is the path from first phone call to living in the thing.

Talk it through

Tell Reece how you want to travel — full-time, weekends, with a dog, with surfboards. That conversation shapes everything that follows.

Find the van

Already have one? Great. If not, he sources it, including direct imports from Japan that arrive in genuinely clean condition.

Design the layout

Colours, timber, cabinetry and layout get locked in together. Clients who pre-purchase get a say in the whole build.

The build

The van gets fitted out in Mount Druitt — cabinetry, power, water, lining, flooring. You get updates as it comes together.

Hand over

You collect a finished, road-ready van and get walked through how everything works.

Aftercare

This is the part customers keep writing about. Something not right months later? Bring it back. Reece is still advising buyers two years on.

Before you call

Do I need to already own a van?

No. Reece sources vans to suit your build — including direct imports from Japan, which is where a lot of the cleanest Hiace stock comes from.

Can I choose the layout and finishes?

Yes. If you pre-purchase a van before the build starts you get a say in colours, timber and layout. Customers regularly reserve a van before it is finished for exactly this reason.

What vans do you build on?

Mostly Toyota Hiace — including 4x4 Hiace — and Mercedes Sprinter.

What happens if something goes wrong after I pick it up?

Bring it back. Aftercare is the single thing customers mention most in their reviews, including one still getting advice from Reece nearly two years after collecting his van.

Can you build around specific gear?

That is the point of a custom fit-out. One build was designed around a lot of surfboard storage; another around travelling full-time with a dog.

How much does a build cost?
